Second dry recyclable waste collection service implemented in DSS on 26th October 2017 while many villagers cooperate eagerly and warmly in this activity.
Waste Management expert from Jica team, Mr.Hosono also joint this activity to see the situation and collection system closely. According to his observation, the driver of the collection truck who is one of the local resident from DSS had a good communication skill to the households and this plays a main role in such an activity. Besides, the cooperation of the villagers were admirable while many households tend to store their collected dry waste in order to submit to the station without any expectation.
The first dry waste collection service had been done on 19th October 2017. It is scheduled to collect Dry recyclable waste every Thursdays 9:00 to 11:00 AM and also collect residual waste every Wednesday morning.
