Inflow of sediment from the rivers to the wetland needs to be controlled from the viewpoint of sediment management in the whole basin encompassing the sediment yielding mountains to the sea via plain areas. In the 1st year, the Watershed Management SC was established under the Anzali Wetland Management Committee (AWMC).
