Implementation of Broader Environmental Education Program in Cooperation with

The Joint Pilot Activities

Purpose: To promote education activities to understand an importance of the wetland conservation for students.
Outcome: Many environmental education activities were conducted in cooperation with Kanoon. For example, three big exhibition events were implemented to celebrate the World Wetland Day (2nd February) in 2016,2017 and 2018.
Future Plan: Broader Environmental Education programs will be continued by Kanoon and NGOs.
Topic: 3rd World Wetland Day’s Event in the project were held in the Anzali Center of the Kanoon (Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adult）from 3 to 9 February 2018. Opening ceremony was conducted with many guests and students. A lot of painting, photos and crafts related to Anzali Wetland were displayed. More than 700 students visited, enjoyed and studied the event.
