The Joint Pilot Activities
Comprehensive Ecosystem Survey
- Purpose: To grasp baseline information of comprehensive ecosystem for planning wetland conservation and restoration.
- Outcome: Mammal, Bird and Fish fauna have been identified in Anzali Wetland. Amphibian and Reptile survey is ongoing.
- Future Plan: The other classifications, such as Flora, Benthos, Plankton, Insect should be conducted immediately.
- Topic:21 mammals, 243 birds and 57 fish species have been recorded until now. Reptiles and Amphibian survey is ongoing. 11 reptiles and 3 amphibians were also recorded as of June 2018. These number of species show that the Anzali Wetland has still significant value for wildlife.
