Camera-trapped Wild Boar in Selkeh

JICA Expert Team has installed a camera trap in Selkeh Wildlife Refuge in order to monitor mammal fauna.

Wild Boar (Sus scofa) is one of common mammals around the Anzali Wetland. This photo was taken by camera-trap in Selkeh.

According to our ongoing mammal fauna survey, Wild Boar was observed in almost all regions around the Anzali Wetland. It plays an important role in ecosystem, although it often destructs farmland.
